Solder card to pna tomtom One
Solder card to pna tomtom One
The fountain
Other work done by Jrozalen
Other work done by yuriyggg
I have colored the white wires to try to make it look better.
In this work of the companion yuriyggg, we observe that the pin that points to the blue arrow is empty, the points that indicate the red arrows make a bridge between them.
It is the main difference of the other scheme.

Solder card to pna tomtom One - XL
The photos are from Downunder35m, it seems they can be a One or an XL or both, but we do not know what model. If your gps matches the photos and you dare to try it, report the result and remember to take a photo.
The models are according to Quini1965:
- 4N01.000
- XL 330 - 1GB (XL30)
- XL 330S 1GB (XL30)
- XL lQ Routes / 340 - 1GB (XL40)
The VDD connection is on the other side of the board.
I am not responsible for the problems that arise from the manipulation of your gps. I'm just collecting the information.
- 4N01.000

Put SD to a tomtom
Manual made by Dobry5885
Hello partners ,
here a tutorial or better said photos of how you can put SD to a tomtom of the new ones,
that is, this:Seeing other photos, there is also tomtom XL of the new ones with the same plates, so if it is the same you can proceed in the same way.
The idea and work is from this video, but the photos are from Dobry5885.
everything he does with his tomtom is under his responsibility, I do not take responsibility for possible problems or dead devices ....
So far we have evidence that has been made in these gps:
DeviceSerialNumber = PB
and according to tomtom is a:
ONE (30 Series) / 125/130 - 1GB
and the data of the partner who made the process in another forum but in an XL are:
DeviceSerialNumber = RM
model: 4EG0.001.13
XL (30 Series) / 330 - 1GB (TomTom HOME)

Solder_SD_Tomtom_XL
Manual created by m4gic of the forum elektroda.pl I have limited myself to copy the images and the translation of google.
Well gentlemen will show you how I did it pictorial Please, do not write with a small card soldier properly is because this is the "prototype" solution.
1. We start our TT copy memory on the hard drive
1. undress and then remove the motherboard. As we can see there is installed 1G NAND FLASH
2. supposed elimination
3. I put "cake" silicone to stick the memory card (stubborn somewhere you can install the micro-SD card reader, but you did not want
4. Paste the memory card and carry out the connection.
I wrote please do not criticize - this is a temporary solution, but the most important thing is to act !!!!
5. After connecting the card and we give our turn in the TT. If the card is cleaning the screen will appear with a cross indicating an empty memory.
It proposes a format before the operation to load previously copied the content of our navigation by the reader, since it takes less time.

Realy very interesting
I still have an One 1GB for spare the PB version
I'll try it the next days
P.S.
Just finished, it's to risky with the device I have.
These 5 points near the memory chip are so thin that I'm afraid I'll loss them.
In the foto here above there are 5 solder points, not with mine they are totaly flat, this One will always have One GB.

The board layout of the ONE-3rd 1GB is different to the 512 MB versions. I haven't seen a retrofit solution for the ONE-3rd 1 GB yet.

The board in post #4 is from the One started with PB in the serialnumber
But all these 5 dots are so close to the memory chip, even with the smallest solder tip I'm afraid you'll damage the layout.
It still work and usefull for a small map.
