On a GO920, using navcore 9.701 (French language) with a patched (not SE) ttsystem and truck map 915.5113 ; ASR is working to find a spoken address (with or without dialog) for any vehicule profile. In this configuration, there is no voice (command) control.
On the same device, with a 9.701 SE version navcore and truck map 915.5113, in x40 or x50 emulation only, the voice control (microphone shown on the navigation screen) is working. (EPT is not supported by these emulations on GO920/930)
In x40 emulation, the vehicule profile can be choosen under Planification settings if initial setting was Bus or Truck. If an other profile is choosen this option disappear, so I suggest using x50 emulation.
In x50 emulation, the vehicule profile can be choosen by clicking its icon in the setting menu 7/7

Hi guys,
I've had in my hands GO9000. I tested it for few days.
The hardware is exactly the same as GO940! The same docking station for computer connection.
The original map is only Europe, w/o truck options...
Anyway, I used my micro SD card and do clear install of 9.701 patched navcore with latest truck map.
After switch it on, I noticed that navcore shown only 2 sections in taskbar. The truck profiles I could edit on first page.
I changed in ttgo.bif lane build=1238656 to build=1238656.1
After reboot, there was 3 sections in taskbar but.... "edit vehicle profile" icon disappear!!!
when I changed build in ttgo.bif again, 2 section taskbar and "edit vehicle profile" icon back!
So, maybe this is solution for x40 users with original/patched navcores, who want edit vehicle profiles in options menu?
Regards

No it doesn't work on my TT940, although I have it showing the 'change vehicle profile' when using a TT950 selection created in DSA.

i agree with @kazupp
first try original ( patch with EasyUseTool )
if that dont work you can always experiment with different EMUs

Morning,
i am doing my friend's go930 as he is starting a truck job.
I have installed original v9.701 with v960 truck on internal as it is a 4gb, so no sd card needed, i assume?
On other 520 and 530's in the past, i used sd card and all is well with traffic using offical 9.701 and patched
I plug in traffic receiver into jack of the 930, but i get no message stating it has been plugged in and no traffic bar.
My navcore was showing 2 bar and i edited the file in the fleet folder with .1 on the end and now have 3 bar's which is good.
How can i get traffic working on this go930?
Best wishes

This "should" work fine on that device (as it also should with 9.702 as well)
Have you a spare TMC to try?

@Peddersgolf: If you use the 9.702, you will got more free RAM-memory on the 930, when this NC is on a memory-card (alone or with an intern NC). Maps may be intern or extern. Also TMC and EPG works fine with 9.702.

Thank you for replying.
I do have spare tmc and same issue.
Reason i do not use 9.702 is due to the vehicle selection issue where it disappears after first use, thus always used 9,701.
Unless there are other versions i can use.
I found using official 9.701 then patching make the traffic work on earlier and later models, whereas customised, traffic will not work at all.
This is first time i have used the internal of the go models to use maps and maybe it might be this?
but i have found recently on both early i.e 520, 530, 720 etc and later go models i.e. 540, 740 etc, using both a rds tmc receiver charger & plug into unit rds tmc receiver, that they are disconnecting and traffic bar disappears.
