Well Dave, I got a letter from Germany in 2007 for speeding 260kph in a 130kph limit on an autobahn. Not a fine, but a warning that there were limits in certain parts on the autobahn. I honestly did not know. I thought it referred to trucks etc. Do it again €600 fine. I got a fine from Hungary for being a day over the toll £70 a week after getting home, and in Austria a €150 on the spot fine for not paying the toll. That was something I did not think was required, I thought was going to be a speeding fine, but the copper said no, just the toll. It is 120kph in Austria. I thought 130kpm. Must admit, been driving in Austria a lot, so have been lucky all these years. So something to be noted. So you need toll tickets from Austria, Hungary and Romania, CZ and SK. Not sure about DK or Scandinavia, but never bought any. Its not like a month ticket is expensive, but the fine is. In RO and HR it is very clear you need them, as at borders. No idea about PO as not been there

130 only on a few rare motorway sections, and then mostly not in the night! Austria is already a funny country
The polish toll system is like in Italy (various companies): some sections depending on the traveled distance, some sections with a fixed amount. No hideous pictures for the windshield
In CZ no toll for motorbike...

In Poland it's bloody expensive compared to the others ...
Private users pay cash/card on toll booths and commercial users use ViaToll boxes.

There is one advantage you can be aware of, and that is manufacturers build in a higher speed on your speedo than it really exists. It is higher more at lower speeds than at higher speeds. e.g. may show 50mph but it is really 46, or may show 30, but is 27. 70 is about 67, 80 about 78. In Germany mine showed 320kph but was really 300kph (Audi v TT). Having said that was a max of 320 but very short time.
How do I know? Well I was being tracked by a racing Porsch who was staggered so as a favour tracked my car between two filling stations. Yes there were times during that time had to reduce to 200 or so because of other traffic
And no, I do not usually drive that fast. Mostly 130 is fine
Was really checking that the car really was unlimited - it obviously isOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.
