Yes, you're right I think also. If your friend downloads speed cameras from TTActivator to his Nav 4 Tomtom GPS device, it wouldn't affect future lifetime map downloads on MyDrive Connect.

But only the TomTom experts on this forum can really confirm this information

Hi, on a pc with Windows 11 when I connect the Blue&Me TomTom 2 Live for the first time, the pc detects it as generic "Usb Serial Device (Com#). TTActivator does not recognize it. How do I do this? Thanks

P.s. Now it sees it as an installment because I installed MyDrive Connect but TTactivator still doesn't see the TomTom
P.S.s. By unplugging it and replugging it like crazy to the USB socket, I won in the end: it shows!

Did you Patch Navcore under "tools" What are the 1st 2 numbers/letters of the Serial number as here you can see/check if it's a NAV3 or NAV4

Hello, I hope someone knows how to solve this problem. When I connect the tomtom Blue&Me TomTom 2 Live, it appears to me among the "Network Connections". It connects for 15-16 seconds and then "Disconnected" appears. I can't get the connection to stay active long enough to install any kind of update via TTActivator. If you want more details, ask and you will be told and thank you for possible solutions.

p.s I don't know if it's a coincidence but disconnecting the Internet before connecting the TomTom prevented me from prematurely disconnecting the TomTom.
