How to patch the new carminat navcore
How to patch the new carminat navcoreWe download the official navcore
We get this file:We unzip the cab
We get this:
inside install is DS_1 and inside that folder...
Unzip the zip and delete the compressed file...
We copy everything that the DS_1 folder contains after deleting the zip.
We paste everything on a card we rename the file ~ tsystem to ttsystem
We patch the PNDnavigator with YDGpatch or TTActivator.
You can get your drive ID from the "loopdir/loopback.ex3" file by editing it with notepad.
Look for "DeviceName" and "DeviceUniqueID" will be visible to you.
Copy the data to a text file and name it "ttgo.bif".
Put the file on your card and TTActivator will recognize the carminat unit.

Thanks !
For info, loopback.ex3 can be easily opened with R-Link Explorer.
R-Link Exploer is also very useful when you want to not loose your setting at each update. You can find mapsetting.cfg file in the map folder.

R-Link Explorer also generates the ttgo.bif file automatically, but you can also use the Total Commander viewer or Notepad ++ to extract the information needed for the ttgo.bif file.
