sounds that you use a SE based NC.
I cant help you with that.
Remove anything from your sdcard (format)
Install my 9541c_32MB.zip.
Add a small map (see link in posting #1)
no need for ephem to get it work.

Clear Flash does not format anything. It clears all system specific data.
So after switching the NC for example this could be a good idea.
This is for truck navigation. You need a truck map to use all features.
Good idea!
9541c_64MB.zip is for car navigation on 64 MB devices.
x20 devices have a SiRF3 .GPS chip.
SiRF has no wnro problem.
I have no problem with my 9541c on a x30 (Sirf too), but some people reported that there is a problem after restart from sleep mode.
In this case it helps to put the device to real switch off.
For testing you could switch off (to sleep mode), remove, insert sdcard and switch on again.
If this works for you, "suicide.dat" is the solution.
Create a file with text-editor, insert "20" (without apostroph), no carriage return.Last edited by BMWdriver; 29th July 2019 at 01:09 AM.

97xx this one and previous one was working fine for short time(new for few days, old few months). I used it with .9519 maps without any problems.
You might be right about sleep mode, because that's what cause my problems yesterday - i just switched off(sleep mode) by pressing power button but did that few times in the row.
I added suicide.dat but with 5 - dose it makes any difference?
I couldn't find anywhere the way clear flash should works - i thought it will clear(format) flash.
Do you need update quickgpsfix with suicide or it is not necessary but will make connecting to satellite quicker?Last edited by loki7777; 29th July 2019 at 02:46 PM.

For almost a year now I'm happely using the 9.5 Rider version on Go930. The device is mostly used on my bike for pleasure, but incidently more serious. In these cases I'd like to use my old TMC antenna, which is working fine in x40 mode. Is it possible with these builds to change modes through sdkregistry and if so, how?

Nope. there is no support for sdkregistry included.
Just choose your skin by replacing your reskin file you find in configuration.zip.
(download from posting #1)
Btw. use NC 9541c for carnavigation like x40.
NC 9501a was made for bikenavigation.Last edited by BMWdriver; 7th April 2020 at 11:46 PM.

@BMWdriver Thank you for your answer. That is what I'm doing at the moment and is working fine. Mostly I'am using it on my bike, so bikenavigation is my preferred mode. I change through reskin as needed, but not very often. I am glad I can still can put my old Go930 to good use, thanks to the wnro fix. And with bluetooth support it is perfect for bikenavigation.

BMWdriver:I have a Rider navigation that has problems catching gps. Navcore 9.205, RAM 64 MB, BOOT 5.5282, GPS - GL2 BCM 4750 FFFF, Deviceserialnumber=K3,Map Central and Eastern Europe 10.50 10176 I uploaded your glgps file to my bin folder, but that didn't solve my problem Is there any way to fix my GPS?

Pls try the glgps file from NC 9541c or replace the whole content of your sdcard with my NC 9501a
The reason is that NC9501 still contains the buggy glgps. Thats no problem, because TT fixed the WNRO-bug inside PNDNavigator (of NC 9501).
If you dont like the GUI of Rider2013, you can switch to your skin by replacing the reskin file.

Hallo, I tried with a glgps file from 9541c on my original navcore 9.205 but it didn't work. Later, I deleted everything from the rider's memory and uploaded 9501a, but my rider still can't find the gps. Is there anything else I could try?
