You have to be patient with any electronic device that you disassemble or mount, it is the same work to change a battery, if it is done as MSTMS, I have not broken for this reason for other reasons on devices that did not work and did not do Resources as a last measure, with the tools you put @yopy in the photo becomes or better with the plastic tools used to disassemble the phone. I do not know if MSTMS works to be able to make a patch without having to disassemble it, at the moment it is what we have, much more than months or years ago.
@yopy When I ask weight of your copy on MB or GB
how much does it weigh? fdt_20211120130602.bin, aprox. 1MB ??
how much does it weigh? userdata_20211120130602.bin, aprox. 15,4 GB ??

it seems correct the 2 copies, fdt and userdata the 2 end well; Status: 0 (null
with linux you have used Kali ?? what version ?? if you have used version 20 or higher is correct.
check that you have correct all the MSTMS patch files and repeat everything again.
regards
PS. Maybe 14.935GB userdata is not complete, for some reason, files, cables, connection, etc ...Last edited by simba; 22nd November 2021 at 09:44 PM.

at this point I made a mistake somewhere
how to remove the patch
-Copy the folder "2_Linux" of the package to /root of the Linux system you are using : it is easier to work with if you don't really know Linux.
- Go inside the folder "2_Linux"
- Edit the file "patch_nav5.sh" with Linux editor (NOT Windows Notepad, it will corrupt the Linux format of the file) and change the third line ttdevice="/dev/sdc" with the good /dev detected by your Linux box.
- Open a shell, become root (sudo su -), and go to the folder containing the file "patch_nav5.sh" (be sure to be in the 2_Linux folder)
- Make the script executable : chmod +x ./patch_nav5.sh
- Execute the script : ./patch_nav5.sh

to remove the patch you have to do it manually, with the linux editor, open the file patch_nav5.sh and delete files and folders from the patch, to search for them, terminal as root command; mount /dev/sdc userdata or /dev whichever you have, you will see it with; fdisk -l edit with linux file patch_nav5.sh look for the cp lines and those files or folders delete them from where userdata is mounted ,,,, in file patch_nav5.sh if your /dev/sdc is not the same you can change it in patch_nav5. sh

Hi Simba. I used the file "" with virtualbox.
Now, I galley with the short circuit. He does not want to work. Yet, I tried everything. I removed the battery. And press the Start button for several seconds to empty the components. I did that a dozen times. I also changed the USB cable, 3 cables.

Remember that to activate EDL you must:
Have the QDLoader driver installed.
Open device manager in windows.
Turn off your device.
Shorting the edl points while connecting usb.
Edit batch files with proper com port.
Do not forget to install the patch_bootmode, I have sometimes forgotten it if you are testing in a loop because it does not get the connection.
If you do things from windows and then switch to Linux, it's easy to forget the patch_bootmode. It has happened to me several times.
The first time I tried the EDL connection I did it dozens of times without success. I bought tweezers to make the short circuit, I bought a lamp with a magnifying glass.
I made many attempts and now it seems so easy to me, but at first I was despairing of how clumsy it was for not getting the EDL connection.

In addition to what @orni tells you
If you do not enter EDL mode, I can say.
Make sure it is short in the correct Pinout, continue to insist on occasions it seems that you are resisting and caution when it is short circuit touching only the pinout, if you touch chassis or something else will not work.
