Greetings to everyone! Today we managed to transform the TT Start 60 device! I'll describe what the trick was! It's just that I bought a new sd card, because I see that the magic card can only be put on the sd once! After that, even though it will be formatted, the navigation will not forget it. Something remains on it and if we turn it into a magic card again, only a black screen and a rotating circle instead of the recovery mode... So if you have this phenomenon, try another sd card! Good luck!

Good evening everyone... just out of curiosity, I installed the patch on a go 60, I was wondering if it is possible to use the traffic information service with MyDrive Connect from the navigator? Thank you

    Hello everyone

I was updating my Tomtom GO 500 and the USB cable got twisted and disconnected.
It's now rebooting endlessly and it doesn't connect to the pc unless I use the magic SD card (already tried booting recovery mode and using TTB_ServiceUpdateTool to no avail).
I've tried rewriting the recovery image but it gets stuck after sending 5mb of data as you can see in the picture.
I think the only way I can recover it (if it can be recovered at all), is to have a full backup image of it.
Does anyone have it or can think of another solution ?

    Thanks a lot !

As i know TTB_ServiceUpdateTool is for NAV3 device, but you try to handle TomTom Go 500 that is NAV4.
Seem that partitioning of your device lock the 3-d one in device ( due to communication errors as you say ). Try to set it as R/W under Linux ( or if this not work - format it under Windows ) - and repeat to restore recovery image on device via Magic card.

I've tried it, I can format every partition BUT the recovery one.
I've also tried low level formatting but to no avail unfortunately.
I think the memory is dead.

Thanks a lot for your help, if you have another idea I'm all ears.

Thanks for this forum and good luck to others

I read it on another forum, tried it and it works, got into recovery mode with the other card!!!!

"My brother brought me the tomtom go 610. Nav was version 18. I had no other choice, I updated the nav to 21.10. The thing is, I created the magic sdcard correctly. I put it in the GPS and in step 2 I enter the recovery, first the letter screen appears, I press the power button 3 times, a TomTom logo appears, but a circle keeps spinning, for at most 5-6 seconds, and then the cabled device logo. I read in a video that this is how to restore the device. The thing is, the device doesn't detect me during the backup step. Not possible. Any advice?
Could it be the sdcard? I checked and all 4 partitions are created correctly.

I'm editing myself in case it happens to someone else. It was the microSD. I tested with Samsung and was able to do the repair. The other was a 32GB Sandisk Ultra."

Same thing here with a tomtom go5100 used a verbatinum 16gb sd al seems working now thanks
    Sandisk give problems
