Splash screen background image vanished after removing Nav4free patch
Hey there. I patched my NAV4 to get ADB and root to get out a few files, after removing the patch, the TomTom splash screen background image where the world maps is displayed, just vanished, any help on getting it back?

ah right ...after removing patch into nav4 then change start splash screen , only tomtom logo into black screen ...maybe Simba can help you
i have a easy solution but i don't know if it's correct , maybe Simba or others moderator can tell you if it's good
reload patch again into your navi 4
Now open and use Filezilla to do everything:
then go to :
internalstorage/data/ttcontent/common/installed/
here you can put inside installed folder the splash screen (original one or your personal with same name and resolution )
then go back here:
data/app
and here remove the file: com.tomtom.pnd.mstms.freemynav4-1.apk
then go to
internalstorage/mstms
here remove the two file:
lib.img and patchit.sh
then turn off your tomtom and disconnect to pc....so turn on tomtom and now you have your personal splash logo and there is no patch

sure i told you , removing patch then you removed also the four image .png (screen splash images)
so as i told you ...you must load MSTMS patch again, and then put your splash image here:
internalstorage/data/ttcontent/common/installed/
so then you have not to remove patch but onluy delete files i told you
or more good you wait Simba , Orni answer as you no wrong ...that's all

After taking a look at the script, I found what was the cause, it removed the splash folder but didn't load the original ones, let me quickly correct it.

the changes to the patch are at your own risk, in the end I told you how to do it, then you see what is the best solution for you.

You can reload this Splash.ORG TomTom? I tried to download it but it no longer exists. Thank you
