Patching Nav4 devices
Hello everybody,
does someone from the group know whether it is possible (for Nav4 devices with an installed patch) that when the device is switched on, it starts up to the navigation menu
(e.g. after 3 seconds) without the MSTMS picture remaining still?Warga Reviewed by Warga on . THE PATCH is that, modifications or otherwise is at your own risk.
the patch was designed to be able to install and activate the maps from the device, so I think this is the best solution, then see if your request will be accepted by the MSTMS teem, but as far as I'm concerned it's okay! "

Hello,
it is possible to change the PATCH in such a way that the Navi menu appears on the screen during the START process after patching (about 5 seconds)? It bothers me a little that I have to tap the screen again after the PATCH so that the navigation menu appears. I would be happy if someone (Orni or Simba) would help me.
Thank you.Last edited by Warga; 10th August 2021 at 02:42 PM.

Surely even unpatched devices always start with a splash screen before going to the menu/route etc?

I don't mean the welcome screen, but the "TEAM MSTMS" screen. Here appears: "Free my Navi! / Patching done" and then the picture remains until I tap the arrow in the top left. Only then does the navigation menu come. But I wanted the Navi menu to appear without tapping the arrow again.
I would like to upload a picture, but I don't know how to do it.Last edited by Warga; 10th August 2021 at 03:56 PM.

Yes, I understand what you mean, at the moment it is not possible to eliminate the MSTMS splash automatically as it happens in nav5, but it is something that MSTMS will pay attention to in the future and do not doubt that if it can solve it, it will.

Hi there,
is there still no way to automatically remove the MSTMS Splash from Nav4 activities? It would be of great help when switching on the devices.

That is not going to be possible, as it is the team's insignia. Greetings

I don't mean that at all. The MSTMS Splash team doesn't bother me. It bothers me that the navigation system gets stuck with the MSTMS Splash when it boots up and does not continue to run.

Ah, so I think what you're saying is that after it starts & shows the MSTMS screen, it then goes no further unless you tap the arrow key and you would prefer it to automatically move on to the main menu after perhaps a few seconds, yes?
PS Ferrari is spelt like that; not Ferarri
