Thank you! But the name displayed is TomTom go 500 now that I've loaded navcore 20. Can't it change to write TomTom 7250 PRO on the display?

I put the patch, I loaded the truck map on a card, I tried to put them directly in the internal memory but I didn't succeed. It doesn't affect me that it says TomTom go 500 but I would have liked to write exactly the gps model that is also written on its label. Thank you very much for your help and the MSTMS team.

TO put europe truck into internal memory you must delete europe map and then use MSTMS tool to upload europe truck map into tomtom internal memory , then you just copy file map .dct from sd to internal memory (map folder), but for me it's more good that you put new maps into micro sd card ... more good to have original map into internal memory and all others maps into micro sd , second my opinion .
about name ..i don't know how to chjange it .... big thanks to MSTMS Team, without it we are still play only with Nav2 !

@george77ro, changing the name of the device is a top secret information. spoon1 and simba know how to do this, but they don't want to share the information with us. Changing the name is useful in case of device theft. On the name you can write TomTom and the name of the owner. That would be really helpful.

Although it is possible to install the map in the internal memory, I do not recommend it for the comments here:
If you install the map on a card then you can remove the card so that MDC does not kill the map. In your case it is a little more special because modifying the navcore connection to MDC will complicate something more.

@Xius27, if you catch the thief, it's easy to prove that he stole the device from you.
@george77ro, install the map in the device! I modified a TomTom 7250 and installed the truck map in the device and it works very well.

I apologize, but I regret that we will only have to thank the MSTMS team and not expect anything else, so a Big Thanks to the MSTMS team and that's it, asking for things that you do not know or MSTMS cannot provide is not lawful, so take that is offered to you and thank you, other things should not be demanded! at least that's just my thoughts
for the fact of the name in the tomtom, that if you catch the thief you see the name, well it makes me laugh this is just an excuse, nice and big.
there is the device or ID or serial number of the tomtom which is unique, this is what you can provide to the tomtom if your tomtom is stolen so that the tomtom can then block it or remove the free map service!Last edited by spoon1; 10th August 2021 at 02:21 AM.
