Thank you very much, spoon1! Host: 169.254.255.1 and port: 21 was the information I was missing. I tried in every way, but 169.254.255.1 was hard to guess. The default port is 21, but host information was essential. I managed to change the name of the map, but the most important thing I managed was that I was able to add voices from my computer to TomTom using FileZilla. This was impossible for me at Nav4 until now. At Nav2 and Nav3 it's simple.

AH Oh , good !
Host: 169.254.255.1 you can see when you make patch to any tomtom Nav4 ..."connecting to 169.254.255.1" , about port it s not important , you can also not insert it or can put port: 21
with MSTMS patch now you can see your tomtom internal memory and so now you have a new world to discover !Last edited by biggerdave; 16th June 2021 at 08:09 PM. Reason: MSTMS

It's not about the voices offered by TomTom. These are voices that we have on our computer and that do not exist on the official TomTom website. If you have patience you can create files with your own voice, which will give you voice prompts while driving. You record your voice commands, create the necessary files and insert them into the device.
@feniceus: you need a Nav4 GPS with the patch installed, connected via USB to a PC, you also need FileZilla or WinSCP or even Total Commander or any other FTP client and connect to at 169.254.255.1, port 21. After that follow the path /data/ttcontent/common/installed/voices/ where you copy the * .chk and * .vif files that you have on your PC. Then disconnect the device, restart it and you have the new voice in it.
For Nav2 simply copy them from the computer to the device, at Nav3 you can use '
Add community content to my device', but at Nav4 this is the only method I know and I thank spoon1 once again for the informations provided.Last edited by LAMedia; 18th June 2021 at 05:00 AM.

If you want to create your own guide voice, follow these steps:
- It should generate 59 recordings with the necessary indications.
- You must convert the files to ogg format.
- You must compress the 59 "ogg" files in the files that tomtom identifies, it is advisable to respect the language numbers.
A very good manual is the one on this website, it is also in English, it is the language of the forum.

Hello, does any of you know whether it is possible to issue a voice warning for the speed camera warning instead of the beep on Nav4 devices, for example: "Warning! Speed camera". I have the file in .ogg format, but I don't know which folder to copy it to

at NAV4; menu, settings, sounds and warnings; type of warning, choose to read aloud and alert voice,
I do not know if it will be enough for what you are looking for.
regards
PS. If you want something else, with Filezilla if you do not know it here in the instructions you can see how to enter with Filezilla
Download Filezilla Client Windows;
Then you install FileZilla Open, Top Left on Server Write 169.254.255.1 and click on Rapid Connected in pop-up window, OK.
Once FileZilla has been connected with NAV4 device, follow the route;
/system/ media/audio, Folders = alarms, notifications, ringtones, ui
These folders contain .ogg sounds can do their tests and share resultsLast edited by simba; 18th June 2021 at 10:22 PM. Reason: add
