Yes, it’s NAV4 which I bought very cheap. I am quite familiar with these devices, I also own a working GO 5000 and a couple of NAV2 and NAV3 units. Problem is not MDC or the cable. USB port is defective. So I need to update Navcore manually and then patch it. It will be the only method for supplying it with a new map.
EDIT: Since MicroSD (and BT) is the only working interface of this GO 400, I am afraid that there won't be a way to install a newer Navcore.Last edited by haddock; 22nd October 2021 at 04:09 PM.

There is no way to communicate with the unit without a usb port. Perhaps disassembling and reviewing the soldering of the usb connector or the tracks on the board is an option to consider.
