Connecting problem with my GO 820 LIVE [FU]
Can someone please help me?
When I connect my GO 820 LIVE (FU) with my laptop it is not connected.
TTActivator don't shows the Nav3 Tools tag and even Mydrive can't find the device.
When I use the .Bat files to install something by hand, it says that the device is not connected.
Last August this problem was not there.
On my desktop computer there is no problem. I already updated the Go 820 to 1060 maps on that computer.
So, i think there is no problem with my GO 820 LIVE (FU)
But the question what go wrong on my laptop.
Both my Laptop and my desktop computer are running on Windows 10 latest version (2H02 19042.630)
I hope someone can help me out.
greetings

I think i solved the problem.
After i found out that the update to 1060 from my Go5200 via MyDriveConnect did not work too.
I uninstalled MyDriveConnect completely and reinstalled it.
After that the Go 820 connected good and TTActivator showed the Nav3 Tools again.
My Go 5200 is now updating via its own Wifi (very slow).
When it is finished I will tell you if it it is working again with MyDriveConnect

installing MyDrive connect installs drivers.
it is possible that in some windows update the draiver has been uninstalled or corrupted.

No solution yet. After trying to reconnect the Go 5200 with MyDriveConnect nothing works anymore.
G0 5200 no connection with MydriveConnect and Go 820 no connection with TTActivator.

I don't have any specific driver, it is installed with MyDrive connect, you may be missing a version of windows framework
If you have these problems, uninstall MyDrive connect, update windows update, restart laptop, from the official page downloads MyDrive connect, when you start it may ask you to update to a new version you accept, you update windows update again.
you open MyDrive connect and it should work.
P.S. look in device manager if you have a yellow triangle indicating what is not working well

Sorry Simba,
Nothing like this works. I am afraid that I have to do a clean install on Windows. For the moment I don't feel like it.
Do I actually must install MyDriveConnect to get contact with my Go 820 in TTActivator?
But thanks anyway.

I'm sorry that it doesn't work for you, if doing a clean reinstallation of the laptop is a lot of work.
In theory, MyDrive connect has to be installed, but what would happen if uninstalling MyDrive connect connects the windows tomtom, it would detect a new connected device? click on search for automatic update.
regards

Sometimes uninstalling the drivers, restarting the computer, it works. Disconnect all usb, except mouse and keyboard.
Go to Device Manager (my pc, right mouse button, manage)
1. Device Manager
2. Universal Serial Bus controllers
3. Action
4. Uninstall
Repeat with all the controllers, in my case there are two.
After restart windows, the pc will find new hardware and install the drivers again.
I feel the language of the images, my pc is in Spanish.
