Best NAV3 unit?
Hi All,
Id like to pick your expert brains.
I've just read the amazing news that the NAV3 devices are now upgradable. And NAV4 also expected soon? Well done to all those who have achieved this.
With your help, and previous forums I have in the past managed to update a number of NAV2 devices (mainly 930, 940) devices for myself, friends and family.
So with that in mind, what would you suggest is the best unit to go for of the newer NAV3 system? What was the flagship like the 930 and 940 were previously?

Before you splash the cash on the "best" (likely most expensive with lifetime maps etc) NAV3, remember that, as you say, you can now add all maps/speedcams etc to a NAV3 device for free anyway so really the main question(s) should/could be which NAV3 has the screen size you want, does it have a MicroSD card slot for more/bigger maps (if you need this) and does it (you) need live traffic?
PS now moved to NAV3 sub-section

I hardly use tomtom gps, I have done tests with nav3 of the start 25, Via 135 and Go 1005 models, of the three for me the best the Start25, it has been the most stable even with truck maps.
If the BT (bluetooth) is not essential I would advise Start to those who ask me. I don't know if Start 60 (nav3) will work the same as Start 25 because I have not tested it but I think so and in that case Start 60 has a larger screen than Start25.
