TomTom XXL540 Device
I have an old XXL540 TomTom device and was trying to find what NAV version this device is?
I thought someone mentioned it was a NAV2 or NAV4 device. Can anyone confirm NAV version ?
Thanks. bondybondy99 Reviewed by bondy99 on . TomTom XXL540 Device I have an old XXL540 TomTom device and was trying to find what NAV version this device is? I thought someone mentioned it was a NAV2 or NAV4 device. Can anyone confirm NAV version ? Thanks. bondy Rating: 5

Hello Peter, whereabouts would that number be located? There used to be some type of paper underneath the GPS Device but no longer there. On the back it has Map share, IQ Routes and Easyport.I can read XXL Canada 310 on my other GPS device.
I managed to locate the previous message about my device. The one I'm currently using is XXL540, is a NAV2 device. If a NAV2 map is not available, could a map for NAV3 device be used in a NAV2 unit?
Thanks, bondy.Last edited by bondy99; 21st November 2023 at 02:11 PM.

Yes you can use a nav3 map, if the memory is big enough.
If you connect you device with a computer, you can find a file called “ttgo.bif”
in that file you can find the serial number.
PeterCollection; NAV2: GO 300 (M1); ONE XL (L1); GO XXL (GQ); GO XL (RS); GO 910 (V7); GO 950 LIVE (W1)
NAV3: GO 820 LIVE (FU) NAV5: GO 5200 (ZB)

Oh ok.
I'll do that with both of my devices and see what it comes with in the "ttgo.bif" file. Would it be ok to post the serial number here or just the first 3 numbers?
bondy.
