TT GO5000 no connection with PC.
Hello. I have a problem with GO5000. No connection to the computer. There is a problem on the device's motherboard. The socket is good, and so is the cable. CPU problem?

My experience is that it is best to connect the device directly to a USB port, especially not via a USB hub.
It makes a big difference per computer, on this desktop that I use the most, it is also not possible to connect my Start 20, for example, while my old ACER laptop of at least 15 years does not give any problems.
The cable is certainly also an important part of this.
So try it on different computers first.

100% malfunction of the motherboard. I tried on a different PC and different cables. This is not the first one that has not found such a fault. I couldn't fix it. I thought that maybe someone will tell you what is on the board because I do not have a schematic. however I can see that the signal is going to the processor.

And if the processor doesn't do anything with it, forget it.
There are technicians here who can remove such a processor without hesitation and put it back in again, but you do need special tools for that, unfortunately that is not possible for everyone.

check micro USB connector on motherboard
in general it is not for the processor,
this photo is NAV5 but the operation is the same, the USB cable has 5 cables inside, usually;
red, black, white, green and blue.
if you sacrifice a USB cable and do as in photo, you connect it to the Tomtom and with a tester check that has continuity with the terminals in the motherboard if any of the 3 data will fail to be error of the miniusb connector,
if you have continuity to motherboard, you should check the continuity on the tracks, transistors, coils, etc.....more laborious scraping clues and then healing with ink and raya grape.
regards

huh?
USB with 5 wires?
Red and Black + and - 5 volts
And then two data wires.
A slightly more expensive USB cable still has a shield.
But a connection directly to the motherboard does indeed rule out a poorly soldered USB connector

This is completely new to me, I have never come across such a cable.
I have now found a 5-wire cable at some cable shop, but there is still the USB A on one side.
The question remains for me, from where to where does the 5th wire run
