Rider V4, how do I clone or copy ?
hi all
I have 2 x Rider v4's (NAV2), both are Europe but one has separate South Western Europe and UK maps with lifetime updates, the other has Europe West map only that includes the UK but doesn't seem to have the same services.
I've deleted the Europe West map and installed the UK and South Western Europe maps, ran FastActivate and everything works fine but when I run TT Home different features are faded out for each device.
Is it possible to clone the lifetime updates device so they both have the same features and services available ?

TThome services are for a specific device you cannot have the original maps from one device to another,
TThome reads the serial number of your device from the rom, so even if you delete the ttgo or all the files from your device TTHome continues to recognize the device

I don't understand why a NAV2 is connected with the servers from TomTom with My Drive Connect
When one of them or more using My Drive Connect in my opinion it must be at least a NAV3 device.
But as long the device show up like an extra HDD, the only restriction is the internal memory when no SD slot available
4GB is to small for for example Europe 1075 10994 which size is 4.158.189.568 bytes
Mine Rider v2 from 2009 is still running very well.

Remark:
hi all

Something is not right above, my Rider v2 has never had lifetime updates.
What are the first two characters of the serial number, on the basis of that information you can check in the more than excellent list of Peterhimself which device it is exactly.
Now it's all guesswork
