I am sorry Dave, you are partly right.
It is not a NAV3 device but it is a NAV2 device.
Its serial number starts with DC and it is a build in device.
on the TomTom site I found a manual. It should be updated via TThome.
I must search for more details.
It must look like this:
As Biggerdave already said below look in the NAV2 part and TTActivator will be very helpfull.

I tried with TTActivator but it is not possible, but in the end I succeeded using Albert's Easy Activator v0.57.21 and now I can use the latest maps. Tonight I will write a procedure if anyone needs it. Hello everyone and thank you for your efforts.

I think that device is the type that toyota takes.
The navcore that I know of that gps is the 7851.
Here is the original cab and the patched navcore.

Yes, it is 7851 GO I90 2GB + SD 2GB
First I backup the contents of the internal memory and then it was formatted at FAT (Default setting) and 64 KB blocks. I returned the backup to the internal memory. With help of TTActivator I downloaded the arm9-mnt maps of Central and Eastern Europe 1060_10563 and copied together with meta.txt from TTActivator.
Started by Albert's Easy Activator setting with "tt8 keygen" followed all the steps and that's it.

Did you patch your original navcore or used the one from Orni?
Is it not possible to use a newer navcore (9.xxxx)?
Why didn’t you use your external SD-card? Then you can use a bigger one for bigger maps (the whole of Europe for instance)
