Did you look in the actual map folder itself as that's where it ends up?
From RunMeforCode help file:
How to create meta (blowfish) codes
you have to be the original owner of the map.
1. Plug your tomtom device with USB to the computer
2. copy RunMeforCode.exe to your TomTom device map/voice directory or run it directly from desktop
3. Run RunMeforCode.exe
4. Done... meta.txt created in map/voice
5. Copy/paste contents of this meta.txt to share with others

@ josmed
RunMeforCode only works for legal bought Tomtom maps or already activated maps.
Here you find the latest meta.txt file with all the meta's till now.
Only maps with a meta code in this file, can be used.
Activating with the is much easier than the old fashion Easytools.

You must NOT put TTactivator on your TomTom
Just put it in a map on you computer.
Connect your TomTom with the computer.
Then start TTactivator on your computer, go to the tab "Installed Content" and push on activate at the bottom
If the activation fails, you must update the meta codes.
In TTActivator go to the tab "Tools", choose "Update Meta"
After that once again, go to the tab "Installed Content" and push on activate at the bottom.
With the tab "Map Downloader" you can download maps directly to your TomTom (If there is room enough)
succes

Unfortunately TTuser Easytools (like many other older progs) is now a dinosaur of a tool from way back which very few people bother with because we do have much better tools now incl and the latest all-in-one
PS apologies for mis-reading your initial query as I was thinking you had a bought map & was trying to create a meta code for it using
Basically, if the tool(s) are still in the Sticky section then they are still good/recommended/supported
