Where is the map name that I see in the menu when I want to change it?
On my GO950, when I give the option to change the map, only the names (Iberia, Europe, Europe Truck) appear without the version or more details appearing. Therefore, if I have several maps with the same name, although with different versions, only that common name appears and I don't know which version each one is. I would like to know in which file or files of the map that name comes, which is shown in the menu, to be able to add the version or modality and, thus, be able to choose, knowing which one is.
When I know it, I will edit that file and change the name, adding more information to make it visible, when choosing in the map change menu and make no mistake about the version.otin Reviewed by otin on . The file you must edit is called Iberia.pna, in the case of the Iberia map it will be something like this
ID = Iberia.pna12282556821010
build = 8897
id = 3009248
and you must edit it like this for example
ID = Iberia 1055.pna12282556821010
build = 8897
id = 3009248

Just a little more information.
It is better to put the version number in front of the map name.
In that case, the version number comes first, which prevents a problem with for example, United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland, which is maybe to long for your screen
Remind you, spaces are not allowed, use an underscore, for example.
