This I my answer to him:
Hi Bart,
I assume that the POI data about campsites, etc. will simply be accessible and you can read information from it.
However, it is not yet certain with certainty whether the specified dimensions or combination of vehicles will be correct
recorded and a route will be determined on the basis of that data.
Orni states with some certainty that that combination cannot work, partly due to the lack of that extra ttmeta file
is part of the old Truck maps but with the new NAV3 it is no longer there.
I will share your experience with them.
Keep it up for a while and then you can drive further away :-)
Regards,
Aad

With my Motorhome/Camping Car and Tomtom Truck I work as follows
Weight: 3500 kg (it is legal maximum, in documentation)
Axis weight: 2600 kg
Leght: 8 m
Height: 3.2 m (I have aconditioned air)
Width: 2.5 m
Max speed: 95 Km/h
For me, they are optimum values.

Try it. Annotation: Your Go with GL2 chip does not require NC modifications with the WNRO fix. Only the new "glgps" file (from NC 9.541, December 2018 and later) should be in the "bin" folder of your used NC 9.702.
Truck-NC with truck map can be configured without problems for a motorhome in most cases. But there are problems with car + caravan or car + trailer. In some countries there are some closed roads for this combination.
E.g. in Austria the old "Brennerbundesstrasse" B182 from Innsbruck to Italy (Brenner) - both directions.
Or the B177 from Zirl to Germany (this direction). In these cases, the Truck-NC / Truck map is no help for travelers with a NAV2 device.Last edited by Alfred_ML; 8th June 2020 at 04:00 PM.

Otin you don't need a navcore for GL1, your device has no GL1 chip, your device is GL2 chip.
The configuration that can go well is:
- Navcore truck TonyZeta, a great friend and wise professor of navcore.
- Map truck nav2 Europe_TRUCK 1050_10209
The nav3 maps will all work on navcore 9702 but as a normal map.
The map camper_1050_10213, truck_1050_10210, Europe_1050_10185 will work the same for you, all the maps you put from nav3 will not work with attributes of truck / camper, in nav2.
Only the map containing the file "tmeta", and the file "tmeta.dct" have attributes of truck in nav2 when you activate your map.

Alfred:
But I understand that there is no problem for the motorhome.
What does that mean from NC?
Is it a feature of the application?
Orni:
I also understand that the ToniZeta mod is GL2.
The mod I am using right now is not GL2?

NC = navcore
I don't know what navcore you are using exactly now, but if it is special for gl1 it is not prepared for gl2, the difference between one and the other is only the glgps file of the navcore 9541 and the treysis pack.
You can put any navcore 9702, the trysis pack is not necessary, but it is essential that you have the glgps file of the navcore 9541, to be safe from the wnro effect.
Whoever has given you the navcore to tell you if it has the glgps file of the navcore 9541 or can put it on yourself.
If your navcore has the treysis pack, you can remove it.

I have opted for the Navcore_9.702_WNRO_GO_Sirf3_GL2_Edition_ENG_ (by_mt), more than anything because I like having an altimeter and QuickGPSfix.
For now, it is going perfectly.
