TomTom says my device is not compatible.
Just a funny little rant. TomTom keeps emailing me this at least once a month...
Followed by an advertisement for some new device. Funny thing is, my old TomTom 720 works GREAT with the latest maps. I have decided they just stopped supporting maps trough TomTom Home for older devices to force people in to buying new equipment if they want the latest maps.
Also, I edited the version info in TomTom home to reflect a differewnt version so TomTom Home now offers the latest maps again and lets me download map share updates and stuff. Thats a win for me TomTom. I wont give this 720 up until you stop offering maps that will work on it fully.

Yup, agree it's just a ploy to sell you a newer (now WiFi connection to the TT servers only) devices at silly prices and you already know all the tricks to keep these NAV2 devices functioning for a few more years yet (until they kill off all the Nav2's incl those with "lifetime maps"!)
