Tomtom One V4 [New Edition]
Hi guys,
I have a Tomtom One V4 (aka New Edition) and it's hard for me to find information regarding this particular model.
I was wondering to which model should I reference too when reading the posts that would be the closest to my device ?
Is it closer to One V3 or One XL ?

Closer to the ONE3rd, but with solvable WNRO-problem (GL2 Chip). You need only replacing the file "glgps" with file from NC 9.541. And an NC tailored to 32 MB devices. Recommended a SE 9.510 (with file change) or SE-9.541.

Thanks Alfred.
I'm currently running 9.510 (32mb Edition) with BL 5.5128.
So you're saying that I can simply keep that version and replace the glgps file from the 9.541 ?
Otherwise, is there any other advantages of running the latest 9.541 over the 9.510 NC ?
As for the BL, I read that 5.5274 was running great on One V3. Is it worth upgrading mine ? Currently it's slow to boot but still working fine. Will I see any improvements if I upgrade ?
Thanks.Last edited by fardy316; 24th May 2019 at 12:23 AM.

Yes, simply replace only the "glgps". Another BL does not bring benefits for a device with only 1 or 2 GB internal memory. You can use your old 9.510 (with file-change) or also a 32MB-NC 9541. Should be found here in the forum. But no advantage (for your device) over the 9.510.

Hi,
I tried installing NC 9541 and also using 9510 with the added "glgps" file from 9541 but my clock keeps returning to 0:00. Antything else I'm missing here ?
Thanks
