Thanks for your reply. I'm using a 9,702 SE DSA with swap, i.e. the best of both worlds in one navcore .

seen the seen that some devices affect them and others not the explanation could be the pieces of hardware that assemble each device that are different,
in appearance they all look the same on the outside even if they are the same model but when you open them you can see some differences (it could be the country of manufacture) that coincide with the first 2 digits of the serial number.
It would be interesting that when the comments are put the model and the first 2 digits of the serial number will be put.
regards

Agree with Simba. Even different units of the same model can be affected differently.
I have 2 Z1 TT One's (v4). They have the exact same GPS firmware versions. One keeps reverting to 12.00 am, immediately after syncing the time or manual resetting time. The other syncs accurately and keeps the correct time. I have tried the "problem" one with the identically copy and pasted Navcore (BMW Rider's Urban Rider 9205) from the working one (obviously I let it generate its own ttgo.bif and patched the identically copied-over map to generate its own .dct). But still the problem one reverts to 12.00 and the working one holds the correct time. So I assume there is some hardware difference even between units of the same model.
For what its worth, updated (with TomTom Home to 9541) Go 940 (WB), Go 750 (W4) and Go 720 (M6) all working fine and later the Go 720 continues working fine with TT Rider 9500.
Not updated - A TT One v4 (Z1), a TT one v3 (E2) and a Go 700 (M5) running various Navcores but all working fine.
The only problem one (so far anyway) is the second TT One (v4) Z1 mentioned above. I suppose it's possible some currently working units will catch the problem later?
Correction/update: Both TT One (V4) Z1's now show the time problem. Both have the GL1 GPS. The time error occurs shortly after getting a satellite fix
The TT One (V3) E2 still holds the time and is working fine. Its GPS is Sirf Star. According to TomTom it is supposed to suffer from the problem.Last edited by derryvolgie; 18th April 2019 at 11:00 PM. Reason: Update

the problem could be the browser chip
they can see what type of chip they have, how to see it, keep the power button until a black screen appears, there you can see
SIRF 3 (chip SIRF STAR III)
GL (chip Global Locate)

The problem with all types of Navcores is with the GL chip (Global Locate), all for now the problem is with this chip, while there has been no problem with the SirfStar III chip, which has information to date of today.

So if this is indeed the main problem some people are having (and I don't doubt it) then you can see which devices use which chipset in the Specs listing by Willy647 here (line no 21) which was current at the time of posting although obviously any newer devices aren't included

For now, the accumulated data are:
One New edition Z3, One XL L3, One XL L1, One 3rd Edition.
Seen in the list of Willy647, all the matches with the chip GL 1 (Global Locate 1).
Until now. It would be good to accumulate more data.
