@ PeterHimself
Thank you Peter !! I (eventually) got the maps activated on both my TT GO's.
Just to share my experience, so others with MacBooks like mine won't need to waste their time.
(1) My MacBook Pro has MacOS Catalina (Ver 10.15). so, I couldn't use the TTActivator, as noted in the instructions by Master131. I hope one day, TTActivator will be revised to run as a 64-bit app.
(2) So, I pulled out my (old 2012) MacBook that had MacOS X (Ver 10.6.8) Snow Leopard. I downloaded TTActivator 1.15. Downloaded and installed Mono Runtime (6.10 stable). Tried running TTActivator with --arch=32 switch. It didn't work. I downloaded and installed an older version of Mono Runtime, and it still didn't work.
So, I borrowed an old Windows 8 laptop (from a neighbor). Copied TTActivator & meta into root of the GPS device and SD card. And ran TTActivator. SUCCESS ! I was able to activate both maps.
Here's some feedback:
The first time I ran TTActivator (on my GO 720), I was able to run the activate, QuickGPSFix and Easy/Automate Installation of Safety Camera. When I repeated it (for my other GPS, GO 730), the error messages were:
"An error occurred while downloading or installing the QuickGPSFix files. The remote name could not be resolved: 'home.tomtom.com' "
"An error occurred while downloading the safety cameras. The remote name could not be resolved: "bitbucket.org"
I repeated it (and also re-ran TTActivator on a backup SD card for the GO 720) and I continued to get these error messages.
So, I did the safety camera updates manually (for my Go 730). And it works !
A suggestion: Wonder if there could be some "labels" in the camera *.ov2 file names to indicate which maps they are for. I had to guess ... and figured out CA was for Canada.
Anyways, I'm all set. Many thanks to you !

@HALX Sorry, but this is off-topic here. This thread deals with the GPS WNRO problem. Which you should do on your devices as well: they show GPS version 3.2.4. You should update that to 3.2.5 or 3.6.0 and you won't need QuickGPSFix anymore. But questions regarding which NC to use and how to activate maps should go elsewhere, please.

Hello all. I have a GO530 with the latest navcore 5.541, 1080 Iberia map, 5.5279 boot and i have the 00h00 bug... Correct me if i'm wrong, this is a Sirf Star 3 device and i shouldn't have this bug, right? I formated the unit and i did a clean navcore install (patched after that) in TomTom Home but the problem remains. I also tried the 9541_Simba navcore, same problem! What can i do?
Edit: I did a reset and now it syncs to a completely different time In the GPS status it shows 19h29 UTC but it syncs to 1h30Last edited by fearfactorylb; 9th December 2021 at 01:31 AM.
