@BMWdriver
I installed using TTHome. Lol, I didn't find the download link, so I used Wireshark to capture it while downloading via TTHome This is the link:
But how will it help SiRF users? SiRF devices didn't have a problem with the date. Also, I believe this PNDNavigator is for motorcycling. Sure you can use it with a car PND, but the interface is designed for motorcyclists. Also, don't know if you'll get sound output through the speaker.

TNX alot for this link !!
You said TT does the wnro fix through PNDnavigator, but accepts the right dates too.
If this would not be the case a doubled correction would destroy correct working SiRF devices.
You can use this motorcycling NC on Car navigation PNDs with sound on headset (like Rider), if this device has Bluetooth like One 2nd, XL, any Go.
Thats what I do. Dont pay that much money for a Rider, if a cheap device can do the same.

I understand. But why do you need the new PNDNavigator then? What is the problem with the previous version?

nothing.
You said there is an advantage in precision of the position
and we always want the latest NC ;-)
Btw. I just uploaded my patched 9501.
I would be interested how this works on a Rider 2013 (and any othe device).
Expect more RAM available than original.
I still do your wnro workaround even on Atheros.
They did nothing for Urban (GL2) and GL1
Inside this NC there is nearly nothing new.
The size of busybox is decreased.
one more commentline in /etc/rc
A few files are different (, but still same size)

Ah right. Yeah, it seems the TomTom maps are slightly off. The current PNDNavigator seems to be more accurate in where it places you on the road. But didn't really try it outside yet. Also, I don't know if this has been an issue on SiRF devices.
Why more RAM available, if I may ask? How did you decrease busybox size? Recompile?
For GL2 there's the updated glgps, which has nothing to do with me (it originates from TomTom). GL1 still needs my patch. I think they now only released it since 2013 is not considered EOL yet. I'm actually surprised they also used some "hack" to update the date, since they seem to be unable to get an updated firmware.
Actually, I'm currently using the 9.500 ttsystem where I integrated my patch (and removed everything GL- or SiRF-related), together with the new 9.501 PNDNavigator.Last edited by treysis; 18th July 2019 at 05:04 AM.

Because those devices don't have a fix. But yes, if you use the Rider 2013 PNDNavigator it should solve this issue, true. Unless there is a check for the GPS chip as well and it only activates on AR1520. But I cannot try that, I only have Rider 2013.
