United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 1025.9432 - Can't Activate
I have downloaded and successfully activated a number of the new 1025 TomTom maps but I am stuck with this one. The meta is available and I have added that to my meta.txt as usual but Fastactivate fails every time on this map. I have even tried downloading the map again and rebuilding the meta.txt but still not working. Has anyone managed to activate this one? I already have United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_1025_9386 working but need the smaller file size on this one.
Hope someone can confirm it as working or suggest how I might fix it.

Don't know if it's relevant to your downloaded files or not .. but have you checked the .pna file for the corrupted line ?? It might simply need editing. I use "Easytools" and needed to remove the extra words to get it all to work, but that was a different map. Editing the .pna took 5 seconds using "notepad" !!

That mistake on rule 1 within the pna file has absolutely no influence on whether or not to activate.
United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland.pna
United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-101897.meta
United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland-101897.meta.dct
Only 1025_9390, 1025_9422 and 1025_9434 don't have the right metaLast edited by pe1agp; 15th March 2019 at 05:48 PM.

Ok .. I'll bow to your greater knowledge and experience
All I know is that, using Easytools to activate my updates, and to preserve all the settings/favourites etc etc, after running Easytools to activate and BEFORE switching the device off I go straight to TTHome, Operate my Go, add a favourite, then delete it, and then delete all recent destinations. I can then safely switch off the device, disconnect it and reboot and it works with all settings in the .cfg file preserved as it as simply been updated/rewritten and not replaced with a new one.
However, with that incorrect line in the .pna, Operate my Go would not work, so I could not follow that sequence. Edit the .pna and it worked as always

Regarding the preservation of the mapsettings.cfg file you do exactly the right actions, although for once I did not succeed due to unclear reasons. I always save addresses in a POI file with a small picture of a push pin as recognition of the place.
The pna file, on the other hand, is called absolutely no influence on patching the map, but the first line is read if you want to change the map. For that reason I adjust this rule in the following way.
ID=1025_Europe_forokeys.pna
That forokeys may just be there, although when changing the card it could be that the version number on the front of a part could fall outside of your screen, so I removed that text from me.
What is important on that rule, no spaces may be used, as is usual with everything from TomTom.
I add the 1025 because I usually save 1 or 2 older cards on my system, so if I want to switch to a different map now I see which one I need.
The misunderstanding arose because someone wrote that you could not patch the map and your navigator ended up in a loop of repeated start-ups.
Later I discovered the problem that the loop came from speedcams that did not have a meta code, but those were all speedcams outside of Europ, I think there were about 5 of them, which should be found here on the forum

I have tried it with amended and original pna file and it makes no difference, it still won't activate with either easyactivate or easytools. Any other ideas?
Thanks.
