howto find out the right new map
To find out which map i have to download i connect the device and in TomTom Home i can find the number of the newer map.
For example: 1000-8641 -> 1005-8763 -> 1010-8891 -> 1011-9877 -> 1015-XXXX
Is there a way to find the XXXX without connecting my TomTom device?

Still not clear to me!
So I checked with my TomTom Go (Blue&Me) and it showed new maps to be 1015-9104
This is my history:1000-8641 -> 1005-8763 -> 1010-8891 -> 1011-9877 -> 1015-9104
How can i distract this from the compatible chart that 9104 is the right map ?

Forget about using TomTom Home & start by looking at what maps can be activated with the meta codes we already have available:
You will see there is a meta code for Benelux 1015.9104 so double check it is suitable for your installed navcore on the Compatibilty Chart:
Assuming everything is ok, install & activate the map...if not, look for the next best alternative

My Navcore is 9.0xx ; should this mean i can install the maps 1015-9104/9105/9106 ?
Now i would like to have the Western Europe map but for none of these there is a meta.
But there is a meta for Western Europe 1015-9160
Since numbers are equivalent (1015_9104 = 1015_9105 = 1015_9106 = 1015_9160) i can copy the meta code from 9160 into the 9104 and activate …
Should this work?
I'm downloading the WE 1015-9160 now. As soon as i have the meta file i will give it a try.

You seem to think that 9.0xx is only compatible with 1015.9104?
Not true, look at 9.0xx line on the chart, there are ticks all along that line = EVERY map is compatible with your navcore
You want Western Europe and there is a meta code for Western Europe 1015.9160 available = no problem, install & activate that map

Ok i'll try this as soon as the download has finished.
btw what's the difference between Western Europe 1015-9104 and 1015-9160?
There is a minor difference in size (2,1 GB <-> 1,99 GB) but will this be notable?

9104 has IQ Routes + ALG; CSpeech + ASR; TTS/Vocalizer; HNR
9160 does not have CSpeech + ASR; but has all of the other 3 elements -IQ Routes + ALG; TTS/Vocalizer; HNR
so is smaller by the size of Cspeech + ASR files
