Sure your NC will work on a Gox20. But his sound problems are not on a Go720, they are on his XL (with restricted menue, i guess)

GJ? Have I overlooked something? Ah, now i see it in #8... GJ = XL IQ Routes 335LE /335SE / 335LM 2 GB.
LM = Light Menue (restricted menue)? And TT say: TomTom XL IQ Routes ² / Start XL / XL Classic
These are devices with the restricted menue. With no other NC than the original these devices have sound.
@coukou: Use TT-Home to get the latest right NC 9.510 for this device. And then use this NC-addon to have more menue options.

I'm away now for one and a half an hour.
I'm back on duty again.
@Alfred_ML I'm afraid it won't help him to connect with TomTom Home, end of life device

TNX Alfred you're the first giving this info about my device GJxxxxxx which a restricted menu device.
However, regading SdkRegistry folder: my 9.401 have not this SdkRegistry folder and have a max extended menu including TomRom Services, while 9.510 have this SdkRegistry folder but have extended menu without TomRom Services. Both 9.401 and 9.510 have not tomtom.mnu file and have no sound.
Right now I updated my device through TTHome and got the v9.510 installed and voices with sound OK.
Unfortunately, the menu is not only restricted but very old (see image bellow).
I'll appreciate yr help to get a decent menu with TomTom Services
Regards

In my experience the NC is not subject of EOL at the moment.
Thats not an "old meue", that's these restricted menue. But already with x40-icons, which also are used on the intern menue of a Go940.
You should actually know the real old menu of a Go730 (with no emulation). It's looking like Windows 3 .
Here are a collection of NC-addons to get more menue-options on devices like yours:
In any kind you have to copy the complete folder SdkRegistry to the root of your device. If you want, you can open the file tomtom.mnu with Notepad++ to edit the labeling of the icons.
Good luck!

The most important for the TT company is to sell as much as possible devices, I would do that too of course.
But now I've a totaly different TomTom Rider v2, I've switched off the original SdkRegistry and use the first of three
I suppose the other two will show me Start menu's ?
Anyway, I'll give that a try too
P.S.
I didn't see this SdkRegistry before, quite usefull for who want more menu options.
I'll store it on my server too.
Many thanks Alfred_ML
