XL 30: Can't delete map directory nor files
HI,
I've a TomTom XL 30 running v9.510.
To update the map, I try to delete the existing map. Unfortunately, I can not delete it, there are 2 recalcitrant files cline.dat (0 KB) and cspeech_FRA.dat (0 KB).
By the way, I can not delete the directory France_1000_8644 nor the files.
I'll appreciate any help

The map is on internal mem.
However, I can't see a reset switch anywhere. Is any chance to reset it?

Backup the contents > format the drive > replace all but the problem files

If low-level format won't help - your internal is gone - search for instruction how to replace it with SD.

You could also try reset to factory settings. If that fails, then as Rusigor states, replace it with SD, but make sure you add ttgo.bif file to the SD Card as well
One day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.

Thank you all for your advice
It is a TT XL30 1GB and does not include SD card nor physical reset switch.
The first symptom of my problem long time ago: too slow to copy files.
Today, second symptom: although I used unlocker and Eraser, cannot delete a directory or file. I suspect a bad sector.
I do not want to format the internal mem for fear that it is out of order.
My parry: I emptied the defective directory as much as possible (there are 2 0KB files left), and then I renamed it XXX
Finally I copied my new France_1010_8891 map and voila
