TomTom meniu function
Hello,
I have a question about TomTom menu function. I will try to explain it. My friend showed me his TomTom ONE with NAVCORE 7.01. And I saw that in his TomTom's menu there was a feature to avoid closed roads, closed tunnels at night or something. That icon looked like red closed sign. I upgraded my TomTom 930 to navcore 7.01 with truck map but I can not find this icon in the menu. Do you know where can I find this navcore or how to activate this icon and function in the menu.
Thank you for your attention

Navcore 7.01 from the stone ages ?
I think you mean 9.701 ?
I don't know if there is such a menu icon in it, and I don't have an SDHC card available yet with a Truck Navcore
But I'll see if it's possible to give you an answer within a short time
P.S.
I don't see that icon within Navcore 9.710
There is only an option at the start to se a warnsound for these roads
Now testing 9.702
P.P.S.
With Navcore 9.702 neither
I can't find any Truck Navcore 7.01, also not within the original versions from TomTom
The earliest I've found is this one:
[ID]
LocalID = ['go530_2048', 'go730_2048', 'go630_2048', 'go720_1024', 'go520', 'go9000', 'go530_1024', 'go930_4096', 'go7000', 'go720', 'go730_1024', 'go920']-8.390.1907-8.390.go_work.CAB-navcore-GO-WORK
imageID = None-None.None
Birthday = Thursday 08 October 2009, 17:41:36
Image type = CAB
Item number = 8.390.go_work
Item description = CAB-navcore-GO-WORK
Changelist = 389691
Application version = 8.390
Application build = 1907
Linux kernel = 342099
Next problem will be with a Navcore below 9.0xxx is't impossible to use the latest Truck map

I think it's best not to use the NavCore 9701, 9702 tomtom launched shortly afterwards It follows that NavCore 9701 is unreliable.

I'm not familiar with the Navcore you mention but every Navcore I've seen has similar features to the ones you mention.
These menu items only appear AFTER you plan a route.
Every Navcore allows you to avoid roads, towns and Cities.
Some have extra features. (Like avoiding blocked roads).

Igor, I think, he ment correct
One day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.
