Trip logs and trip estimate on a Tomtom device?
Hey friends,
While I agree that the tomtom interface and system are better than iGo in many ways, there are a couple of features that I really miss!
The first is the ability to record and save trip logs. Do any tt devices have that feature?
The other is to have a car profile and estimate trip fuel cost. That was quite a nifty little bit of information before a trip.

I'm rather sure my Rider v2 is able to make a record of the whole route, with navcore 9.500
I don't have that option on my GO 910 with Navcore 9.510
I'm affraid it's only possible with the Rider Navcore 9.500 when you have the possibillity to plan winding route.
For me I think it makes no different, car or motor, the road is the same

Yes, only with a Rider_NC (9.205 or 9.500) you can make route-loggings. The NC 9.510 isn't a Rider-NC...
About "trip fuel cost": Does the IGo know the current fuel-prices along your Route? And does the IGo know which petrol-station(s) you want to use? I think no. So this feature is a useless "nice to have".
Edit: @happened: On all NAV2-devices (except on devices with NC 8.041 and Bootloader 1.0100) you can use a Rider-NC. Recommended 9.500 for 64MB devices, 9.205 for the 32MB devices.

Thanks a bunch, that helps! :-)
Not really a useless feature since I am not looking for an estimate true to the last decimal. In my experience and regions, fuel prices do not fluctuate daily as much and do not vary between stations too much as well. So this has helped me in the past. Thanks for the info on the Rider NCs. I will give this a shot. Mine is a 64 MB device.
Thanks! I have no experience installing third party apps on a Tomtom but I am sure I can figure that out. Will give his a shot, too!
Thanks, guys! Very grateful! :-)You're beautiful. Yes - you reading this! :-)
