Yes I think you are possibly right Dave. My version of the India map is 995.8496 and works fine. I can guess your answer too Dave. Even just by seeing the version number. Or shall I LOL?
5 hours of waisted time too. Could have given the answer in a minute if asked
Based on my hourly rate, could have ordered a new TT with India available on it with updates on it for life for about the same cost. 5 hours workOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.

Sure, it will work with your NC 9.510
Thanks, @Schwan.
@the Maverick, I agree completely. I have been trying to revive this old device for the last so many hours for the fun of it. I am a design engineer, and indeed it would have been so much cheaper (than spending these hours on forums) to just buy a TT with world maps etc. But I guess we do all this for the fun of it - being an engineer, I reckon, is about being able to fix things.
This and other forums have been very helpful in this process. What I have failed to appreciate, somewhat, is that some comments are rather rude. I think it would be unfair to assume that every posted question is an act of laziness, trying to avoid searching. In my line of work, I daily come across people with no knowledge of mechanical systems, but I try to be as polite and understanding as I can, without belittling them. But I think this is common to all forums. I think we just need to appreciate that while we are experts in one field, we could all be newbies in another field.
And I have no shame in admitting that I am new to GPS systems etc. And so I humbly continue to seek the help of those who have spent more time on the subject. But I take pride in being a razor sharp engineer. And I think there is no replacement for politeness and patience. But then, I am digressing. A mod may move this post to the 'off-topic' section with a nasty comment to go along with it! Lol!
Speaking of - on-topic - @ the Maverick, could you please let me know if there is anyway, I can have the 995 maps of India on my device? Of course, I will research more on getting the 950 maps and the 9.50 NC on my device.
Thanks, everyone, for your patience. :-)

yes, it is the fun of being an engineer. I would have too, BTW. The hardest part is getting meta code for the map available. Mine is on GO5200, but not available as a download here and I have not seen India map download posted
Last India map I know of is
CF A0 AD C2 C6 DA E5 6D 7F 58 0F 54 F3 6F F9 31 India-100406.meta ;India 950_6558 and you have it alreadyOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.

Mine is GO5200 and it covers India this time. last update, loaded India, then they deleted it. This time it is here. I am not sure if it will work with all units, but it does with this. It does route planning, but I have not seen if traffic works, since not there to check. Looking from MyDrive on pc, it shows traffic problems, fo I am guessing it does proper traffic updates. BTW TT is a lot better than the sat nav in my car, i prefer the voice in the car one though. The TT one is so funny with foreign street names. sounds nothing like they are really
Hyderabad at the nortern end has quite a lot of hold up and to the water, are many delays in both directions.
India is not available on Android (GO Mobile). If it had been, that would have been best for you, but sadly it is notOne day, someone might make things work perfectly before release. Sadly not in my or your lifetime. At least by finding problems and sorting them, we are still alive.

Ah thanks so much, guys. This is extremely helpful. From your comments, it seems clear that there exists a possibility that an India map may be available in the future? I say that seeing as they have only recently started doing the India maps. Do you think I am right in thinking that?
Indeed, all links to the old map appear to be dead... I will keep looking. Having a three years old map is better than having no map! :-) I hope a kind member can post it if they have the time. I would be grateful, truly.
Thanks again, guys :-)
