vehicle icons
I can't really find anywhere appropriate to ask the following question.
Hi, could someone please tell me if there is a way of changing/selecting a different vehicle symbol on a TomTom One Third Edition running Navcore 9.510 (940_5963) map??
I look forward to anyones reply either way.

In root create a folder named Art
In that folder create a folder named Cars , drop your icons in this folder .
Images should be 80 x 80 pixel .BMP
100% red ( RGB 255,000,000 ) is invisible color

That worked a treat!! Except i cheated a bit and copied the art folder from my XL One, but the end result was still the same.
I will have to have a crack at making a symbol from scratch or just use an image from a photo minus the background etc................
Cheers for the quick reply.

Your solution worked a treat on my TomTom One 3rd Edit.
I have been updating my old TT Go (Navcore 7 as standard).
I have used the custom navcore installer to get new maps to work on the device, but i am having the same trouble with the change symbol option not being available in the devices menus.
The symbol problem is also an issue on the original navcore 7. I have tried the art/car folder on the root of the memory cards, i have restarted the both navcore systems a number of times and i have even run fast activate just in-case that might of been able to of sorted the issue out, but i have had no luck.
I have also tried all of the above through a SD card reader and directly through the device (connecting the TT Go directly to the pc with the SD card inserted).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

No crack needed , only an ImageEditor
Take any image you want
Paint background red ( real red = 255 , 0 , 0 )
Make a square crop
Size down to 80 x 80 pixels
Save as AnyNameYouWant.BMP and put it in cars-folder
