Very good idea !
This way you avoid the risk that you mentioned in your post#14 .
Note that your sd-card must have a navcore on it in order for this to work ;
the cal.txt must be in root of the drive that has the active navcore .
To make sure your device boots from card ; copy internal to PC ( for backup ) , then copy it to card ,then remove all from internal .
As long as you use sd-card you are safe .
( I recommend to use a card-reader instead of device/USB cable connection )
Make it a habbit to reset after making serious changes .

It seems that my 'cal' file won't work.
I created with notepad txt file called 'cal' then I wrote inside your suggested number - 932 83 844 151 then I did put in SD card root but nothing changed... What I am doing wrong ?

Hi there.
I have in another forum a great post for calibration, the system is explained here. The good thing about this post is that there are several example images, the trouble is that this in Spanish.
Not if I can put the link to the Spanish forum, but if you want, I directed and send it privately.
Note: No problem can be generated by cal.txt file. It's just a long and a lot of patience because it requires many attempts task

I assume its in the same location as the navcore .
Try removing the extension ( .TXT ) and see what happens .
For some navcores the file must be named calib , but AFAIK it is cal for navcore 8.xxx and later .

I still cannot change numbers. I deleted everything from internal.. I have fresh truck nav core and map in sd card I tried calib and cal both with txt and without.
I even used 'FastActivate' to update.
Maybe I done something wrong in txt file? In file I just did put ' 932 83 844 151' and that's it..
