@endeavour79: FastActivate needs a ttgo.bif (with the device-infos) to work properly. You must create this file by yourself. Read the instruction in #3 from the HowTo-link.

Got it all sorted, Thanks for that. Noticed that the Nav got really really slow and sluggish after the update.
Any suggestions?

Which map you use? POIs displayed permanently from the device?

Alright, I did not know this. I used the Australia 1000_8643 from this forum. Would assume it's a general map?
Delete just the .arp or anything else as well? Otherwise just copy in, put speedcams and activate? Right?
What is the patched NavCore for? Just for TTS or does it do anything else?
@Alfred, sorry, what do you mean regarding POIs dislayed? I can see gas stations on the map..is this a hint to what you're asking for?

Of course. The difference? The NB1-maps were created specifically for the NB1 with all needed files. Look her for DL-links of 1000.8681 maps:
But i'm now seeing, you use an Australia-map. There is no known code for the NB1-Australia_1000_8681 at the moment . So you can only use the PNA(High-Level)-Australia_1000_8643 under the given hint in #614.
Not for TTS. Only a NB1 with a patched NC can "see" and use NB1-maps (and High-Level-maps) from here.
One or two POI (selected to display) is ok, but not a lot or all of installed POIs (gasstations, speedcams, hotels...). Too many displayed POIs can slow down the device.

if I update maps only, will I loose FAVOURITES in the patch procedure or it only happens when we update the core?

You don't lose the favourites, just your Home (which can be easily reset from Recent Destinations). If you backup your loopdir folder, or, at least, the loopback.ex3, you can recover your favourites from there but the process is a little more tricky. I have not managed to work out how to recover Recent Destinations.

I believe that if you put the files of the new map, inside the folder of the old map you will not lose: favorites, your house, the last destinations.
You just have to be careful to remove the files from the map that have the same name besides the "file.meta" and "file.meta.dct" from the old map, files that the name will be different, if you show me a capture of your Old map I tell you what you should remove with more security.
