Hi. I purchased my 6 in 2015 also and it was the last of the tomtom that year. If it has the screen that is fitted into the dash it is tomtom. The later facelift model came out in march 2015 in uk and had the screen which kind of stands out of the dash on it's own. I believe this is a different system.

Does anyone have an mctx.dat file for ITIS/Inrix in the UK? The Trafficmaster TMC was turned off earlier this year and I am wondering about switching.

BTW, the nav3-sayville 1120_12136 map also seems to work in the NB1 which is useful as there is no meta for the nav3-fuji 1120_12134. The is just like the 1115 maps.

I was updating QuickGPSFix on NB1 Live and noticed expiry date 15th Feb 2024.
Will this affect GPS after 15th, again will have slow GPS start? Expect new update soon?

Hello from New Zealand. I am amazed to see such dedicated work by you experts & enjoy reading posts. Even if mine doesn't work, I will say thank you!
I have 2014 CX9 with NB1 Tomtom and have tried to follow instructions in the how to patch thread but they are posted from 2014 and in different places and I have had no success. I have TTActivate but see mention of Fastactivate, I don't know where to place ttsystem from the CAB file - I tried root folder and which download is correct for New Zealand. Trying for several days now and hope someone can give concise instructions please.

It is pretty much all in , but you have to piece it together a bit. Latest Navcore is 10.855. Use TTActivator these days. Choose the nav3-fuji map if there is a meta or, failing that, nav3-sayville. Just copy the whole map over yours and delete any pre-existing whatever.meta and whatever.meta.dct files from your old map.

Thank you.
I think my car TT is not patching:
Copied backup of original SD onto a new SD
I downloaded the fuji zip in tomtom-tutorials-and-faq/howto-patch-mazda-nb1 post #1
Unzipped into Root of SD
Created ttgo.bif as per Alan's posts
Ran TTActivator and downloaded nav3-fuji ver 1110 (later maps did not have meta)
Activated maps
Put SD in car, yellow screen comes up for a few seconds then disappears
When I push Nav button, I see loading screen, it loads old map. I select new map in menu
RED border screen: "Problem with map You cannot use this map on this device NEW_Zealand-103801"
On the system info menu it shows: "App 10.855.2319141.542 (0) (1815, 30/5/2016), OS 1550115"
I appreciate your help

Why download "fuji zip" when you download it again with TTActivator? I don't remember where TTActivator pits the map. I download separately and then just overwrite the contents of the map folder (in my case Europe).
Based on post #3 in that thread:
Clone your SC to a new one to keep the original one intact for safety reasons.
From part 1 you can download your map or use TTA later; get the patched navcore 10.855 from post 4; get notepad++ if you want.
From part 2 do all steps
From part 3 this is a complicated way of doing it. Either use TTA to download the map, or from your manual map download, copy all the files into the map folder on the new card. Then from the map folder, delete whatever.meta and whatever.meta.dct files from your old map (not the new whatever.meta you just copied in)
From part 4, just use TTA to activate your maps. You can also use it to update safety cameras and QuickGPSFix.
From the Final part, do it all.
As there aren't any meta codes for the nav3-fuji 1120, you can try to use nav3-sayville 1120 instead.Last edited by NickJH; 21st February 2024 at 08:37 PM.

Thank you!!! It finally worked with your help NickJH.
I had to skip Part 3 deleting files - the car rejected that map.
After successfully updating the navcore, I just used TTA 'Download to device' with SD card (with original map SD card copy) in PC and I did not delete or move any files at all - just left the .meta & .meta.dct files. It created a new folder.
It now has 2 maps available in car: old map and new map (v1120). I will drive around and check but so far it looks ok and shows new roads.

Good. I am never sure where TTA downloads to. I am used to downloading the map separately and copying it in over the old map. I think I panicked first time I used TTA as it downloads into a slightly differently named folder which gave me a space issue and I didn't know if it was going to work, so I fell back to the old method of manually downloading the map. Then you have to delete the whatever.meta and whatever.meta.dct as they are hangups from the map you have just overwritten and give activation problems. If the map from TTA goes into a new folder, then deleting them would be bad and mess up the old map.
