The TMC seems to be related to a file called mctx.dat inside the TomTom firmware upgrade file ttsystem. It is possible to replace this file which resides inside a gzipped tar archive called contentfs.gz inside the ttsystem image file. It would be nice if anyone can provide details on the mctx.dat file format. All I could find through Google was another navigation forum with dead links to pre-modified mctx.dat files.

At first: minimum 4gb, better 8 gb SD.....put the SD in your Car....ignition Motor, start Navigation, a Failure was shown(red cross or so), wait any second , close the Navigation and ignition off.....Take the sd on your Pc, a folder "loopdir" must exist

Thanks for fast answer, so i don`t need any other files? I checked some dump trees from "others" users of root directory and there was a lot of different folders. For example where i should put downloaded maps (which folder)?
What did you mean 'No Update with TTH for maps from here'

Sure, if the Software of your InDash Navigation is cr****ed with @ Si***a Soft, you can use all Maps, where a Code exists, side by side, you can Change it in the Soft on Point "Change Map" or so, the Limit is the Size of the SD-Card

I don't see any difference between the original Navcore + release.nfo file and Simba's files. How can you tell that it's possible to revert back to the original Navcore ?
Some people did it according to this thread but I didn't see any proof of that.
Can this procedure also provided in the How-To ?

If you compare a "normal" with a patched NC, like a NC 9.510, you also see not a difference. (look the Size of the PNDnavigator before and after a Patch). The Patch is inside the ttsystem. The *.nfo is untouched by Simba, this is unneeded.
Revert: I can not proof it, my Patched NC works . If the patched NC by Simba donīt work in the Car, the Car will not accept it. Then use your original NC and your old Map.
or what did they want to know?
