simply upgrade bootloader to a higher version then your last attempt
use a card-reader , because i think your PC dont recognize the device via cable connection

Due too the Bootloader is probably corrupted, I'm affraid the device won't startup at all. Remove your BIOS from your mainboard and try to start your PC, I doubt it highly it will start.
For me I think the only thing left is to buy cheap a second hand device with a broken screen and use that mainboard.
Removing the eeprom from the board without specials tools is totaly impossible, next problem where to buy a dock and write the eeprom again.

^^
nonsence
a 710 is no PC
with a bootloader higher then the current one on sd-card it will boot again
there is one exception ; devices with a 1.xxxxxxx bootloader should not be changed
but a 710 is not one of those

Do a test and you'll know. The Bootloader is just like your BIOS and start your device and check if the hardware is available like in this case the cardreader.
I hope for him/her that I'm WRONG, but updating your Bootloader with running out of power will destroy your device.

Yes but lucky never lost power while the update took place ?. I suppose you're also using version 5.5128. I don't remember which it was in the first place, it was a GO910 but now also a GO710 due to de SD slot
