Igo will not auto-detect vehicle GPS module
Greetings community, I need your help!
I have just bought a second hand car with an unbranded stereo system. The SD card for the nav was missing so I've replaced it, downloaded IGO etc and the program runs fine but when it comes to auto-detect the GPS module it cannot find it. I know the module is working because the head unit's own diagnostic system recognises it and gives me a satellite count and my current coordinates. I've tried several different versions of IGO and they all come up with the same problem, help!aquadave Reviewed by aquadave on . 1. Try to change in sys.txt:
[GPS]
port=AUTO
baud=AUTO
If this does not help, follow these two steps together:
2. Backup and Delete the Save folder
3. Rename sys.txt to systxt.old, restart iGO and run the setup
iGO will make new after restart and configuration.
