If you know exactly which files you can and should delete, but Dave already indicates that he is not a specialist and I think creating an Ubuntu DVD will already be a problem.
But if I remember correctly I must have one laying around here somewhere.
So if you want to go down that road Dave, I'll find that DVD and possibly send it by mail.

Thanks simba & Aad but I wouldn't know where to start as that's way above my skill levels!
Maybe I should just live with the Windows Security pop-up each time I switch my PC on telling me that these 2 threats ExcludeProc.A & .D have been blocked (which is the main thing after all).
If somebody does find an (easy) solution for a dummy like me then please share it here
thanks

Still no success even after running a full scan (and removing all reported problems) with IObit Malware Fighter, Malwarebytes, SpyHunter and Gridinsoft so obviously these are very well hidden to "normal" anti-spy/anti-virus programs as only my Windows Security Virus & threat protection finds them (and now along with Backdoor:Win32/Bladabindi!ml) and I have to delete these after each start-up which I can live with but would still welcome a proven (and simple) method to fully remove them if possible?

the method that indicates there are videos and the internet, how to make a bootable usb and use ubuntu Live.
try what you are doing, but boot PC in safe mode, that way all programs are not loaded, if it loads at startup it does not allow delete or rename, cross your fingers that the cause of the problem does not load at startup, also try not delete, when the Windows antivirus warns you in the danger warning, it has the path where these dangerous files are, instead of simply deleting them, renaming them, as I indicated in the post above. P.S. take precautions with the test antivirus that they locate and to eliminate it you have to buy, they could not only solve it, add one more problem.
regards

You are absolutely right Simba, rarely do those tools solve problems, rather you get more.
Unfortunately, the problem can only be removed manually, but it will most likely require deep intervention.
Dave first list what is loaded at boot time, but using the Regcleaner tool, it doesn't change anything without an explicit command, but it does show what is being loaded on the second tab from the left.
No difficult commands are needed for this, but you do know what has been loaded, only then can you decide what can possibly be removed, and even then you have not really lost it, a copy of possibly the registry key is kept and can be simple command reset

Strange/weird/odd/inexplicable but they've gone! Don't ask me exactly how I did it cos I just don't know BUT, all I do know/remember from a couple of days ago after which I noticed that Windows Security stopped giving me the pop-ups saying VirTool:Win32/ExcludeProc.D and VirTool:Win32/ExcludeProc.A had been removed and that Backdoor:win32/Bladebindi!ml had been quarantined; was I'd run 2 or 3 different register cleaners and followed all their recommendations (after creating a new system restore point and a full system backup to an external hard drive beforehand so, for now, happy days
