McAfee spam emails!
Is it just me but (along with the usual rubbish spam emails I get which fortunately mostly go straight to my junk mail folder), I've been inundated in 2 of my email accounts with probably 100+ spam emails over the last week or so from numerous sources claiming to be from McAfee telling me my license has expired/account has been deactivated etc etc?
I know how to block spammers etc which I obviously do just as soon as I get them but they're nearly always from another/new sender each time and McAfee don't seem to give a damn and, I don't even use McAfee anyway! This is completely new to me Dave.
Every now and then I get something about the enormous amounts of money that I miss out on if I don't participate in such an investment.
But the numbers you mention are way beyond mine

Half a million is enough.
Is there still enough petrol for sale in your area?
The first adverse effects are becoming visible and winter has yet to begin.

Panic about nothing?
But it is a sequel to leaving the EU
I understand that there are about 1000 drivers short of distribution, all foreign drivers have returned to their own country, at least most I can assume.
But we also had such a hamster rage here with toilet paper when the first lockdown was a fact, and that while it was clear on TV how high it was stored in the warehouses

The shortage of drivers is indeed mostly down to Brexit but until now (when our press has nothing else to report), everything was running smoothly and fuel/supplies etc were getting through without a problem which just goes to prove it's the fickle/stupid/ignorant/selfish people who cannot think/reason for themselves that is causing all this; not the shortage of HGV drivers!

Unfortunately it is no different and it comes at a very inopportune time.
Do you have to drive far back and forth to visit Frances, even twice a day?
If you couldn't do that, we can call it a disaster.
I'll start here with my fingers crossed that it will be a thing of the past as soon as possible

Fortunately she's only about 2-3 miles away plus, so if I really couldn't get petrol, there's a reliable bus service from just around the corner from here to Frances anyway so not a major problem for me (unless the buses can't get any diesel of course!)

Here in our area, and certainly in Rotterdam, a considerable number of buses are already running on electricity.
(With a very long extension cord)
It won't get that bad that the buses will also run out of diesel fuel is to be hoped
