Remove "Your Maps Are Out Of Date" message
Old Nuvi 360 w. 2GB limit
I have 3-year old map on internal memory and new 2GB map on SD card.
The available internal memory is too small to put new 2GB map on it.
The GPS keeps nagging for updates - probably seeing only the old internal map, and not reading the newer ver. on SD.
Any suggestions how to stop the update nags?Swift Reviewed by Swift on . Try deleting the old map on the device (gmapprom.img), but from memory the nag is the small price of using Unlocked maps

Unless you are a "New" member, having used the Thanks button regularly is the quickest way to get help.

On some earlier devices such as nuvi 3xx you enter that menu by holding the time in upper RH corner for ~6 seconds, rather than holding the battery symbol as with most auto devices. kunix's BAT file is useful in the unlikely event you intend still persevering with the old mapping however if not using them simply remove them as suggested by Garmin_Nuvi.Last edited by B1ng0; 24th October 2023 at 08:07 AM.
