I'm loading EU2025.10 as a supplemental map on my Nuvi 2460, and I'd like to put all the related files on the SD card. I've already got the JCVs on SD:/Garmin/JCV. I don't plan to have a traffic subscription, so those files don't matter. I'm also sticking my Basecamp stuff on the SD card.

Hello, I downloaded the complete set of Garmin City Navigator Europe NTU 2025.10 FID files that you shared on Mega. However, after installing them on my Garmin Nuvi 52 (using an expansion card), I received a message stating that the maps cannot be unlocked and that they are corrupted. Could you please confirm whether the files you uploaded are already unlocked? Do I need to perform any unlocking operations?

look in your garmindevice.xml and tell us what your HWID is, as if this is from Singapore or Taiwan it may require Patching

Not a nuvi 52 but nuvi C255.
Plug your device into your PC, inside the Garmin folder will be the garmindevice.xml open with note pad and find the 4 digit HWID number
<Model><PartNumber>006-BXXXX-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>280</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>nüvi C255</Description>
</Model><Id>390XXXX487</Id>
This is specific to the model sold in China so not sure if it needs to be patched or even it can be Patched
