@Garmin_Nuvi, thank you very much! I was already wondering why Benelux v2 did work @ my Forerunner 945 ánd the Topo France v5 too.
After changing the CP in Topo France v6 with ImgTool, all went well! Fixed!
@Pilou, so I'm happy I don't need a patch for my device..

The white rectangles visible in MS and BC are small errors in the Terrain shading layer.
If you turn off Terrain shading they are gone.
You can turn off TS in the Windows Registry but it's easier to use TypViewer: Menu > Tools > Activate/Deactivate shading in BC or MS.

Yes, the shading is calculated with the elevation data (stored in the DEM subfile). Some data is missing (when you drag the mouse over these areas, BaseCamp stops showing elevation), so these are not shaded and appear clearer.Last edited by sherco40; 18th July 2021 at 12:20 AM.

TOPO France v6 and TYPViewer
Regarding TYPViewer, version 4.5.50 does not correctly work with the typ file of that map because of some new features. TYP file will be slightly corrupted and some issues may appear with some recent units.
Please, use thatLast edited by Garmin_Nuvi; 18th July 2021 at 03:52 AM. Reason: Added link to TYPViewer's own thread

Hello,
For BaseCamp, just copy the .img on an USB stick in a garmin folder.
For MapSource, you must use GmapTool in order to split the img file.
For your question about language, it's an english forum so you need to use english in all threats.Last edited by P i l o u; 20th August 2021 at 04:49 PM.
