I have a Nuvi 3597LMT that is new to me. First time Nuvi user, long time TomTom user and Garmin Outdoor user.
From what I understood this device has live traffic, from the smartlink app, correct?
My Nuvi is connected to the smartlink, it receives weather data, but it doesn't receive traffic data. App gets traffic data from internet. Nuvi always says to wait and that it will take some minutes.
I am running latest firmware on the nuvi and the most recent version of iOS and smartlink app.
Any clue?

edit: tried it connected to gmt36 and the same
