Topoactive vs Topoactive Powersports
Hello all,
In a pursuit to try to make my Garmin Nuvi 3597 working for offroad, I got Garmin TopoActive and TopoActive Powersports maps.
From my reading what I understood is that TopoActive Powersports weren't routable, so in my head had to be used with city navigator.
is this correct?
Yesterday I gave it a try on my 4x4, and to my surprise when I just have selected the powersport maps, the Nuvi routed offroad (although not always 100% correctly...like on paths were the car wouldn't pass).
So for this purpose should I try to use topoactive powersports map alone? with CN? Topoactive? Or another OSM map?
I was positively surprised that it kinda worked! Let me know if somebody already did the same experimentskinnie Reviewed by skinnie on . Hi,
I have old TopoActive EU PoweSport 2022.20 and it's routable.
It works perfectly on my Montana 610
I did not try it on a Nuvi but I think it can be ok
