I do an update for a nuvi2555LM by Garmin Express with a sd card well format by sd card reader (Probook 650). I have to said that it was not the first time I used Garmin Express to update chart on this GPS and I used the map copy in the sd card via gimgunlock to update a nuvi 1350 and 1370 with no problem. I have to precise I don't use gimgunlock directly on the sd card. But this time, at my big suprise, my sd card was empty. No field in it. And the GPS was update well with the good map up to date.
I browse the gps file to find the gmapprom.img habitualy in .System folder but nada... No map file in the nuvi 2555LM. But when I power up nuvi 2555LM., I can see, in parameter, About map CN North America NT 2025.10 Canada.
What is going on. Need explanation.
Is it a new type of encryption?
