So I wonder how does routing work with two maps with the same coverage? From what I understand the routing is "part" of the map (.gmap files).

For example I got the 2025.10 Garmin map and also a very recent Open Street Map. Both are available in parallel on my device but when I choose to only have one active map I get slightly different calculations for the same route.

How does it behave with both maps active? Is the routing then calculated based on both maps (which might give best results)?
